We accept the following payment methods for all purchases with The Scent Shop:
- MasterCard Debit
- Visa Debit
- American Express
We treat the security of your data very seriously and all payments are processed through Sage Pay. All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and at the appropriate rate. The total cost of an order is the price of the product plus your chosen delivery charge.
Credit/Debit Card Validation
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the checkout stage.
We aim to deliver your product(s) to you within 2-5 working days by Royal Mail. Please bear in mind that during busier periods this may be longer than expected. If you have not received your goods within 10 working days, please contact us. For more information, please see our Delivery Policy.
If you aren’t home when the parcel is delivered, you will be left a card to collect it from your local parcel office. If you do not collect the item within 21 days, it will be returned to us. If you’d like the item to be redelivered, you will be liable for the cost of delivery or accept a refund minus delivery charges.
Returns and Refunds
We are happy to refund or exchange any product you are unhappy with provided that the item is returned unused, in perfect condition and in the original protective packaging. You will be liable for the cost of delivery of returning an item(s). We recommend that you use a tracked service when returning any item(s) to us. DO NOT return any items before contact us
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method for the cost of the item only. Please see our refunds and returns policy for more detail.
Damaged Items Claim Procedure
- Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel
- Contact us via our contact page and upload pictures of the damaged product.
- Do not return the item until we advise you to do so.
- Please keep all of the original packaging.
- Please do not dispose of the item unless we advise you to do so. We may ask you to return the damaged product to us at our expense.
We have made every effort to accurately display the colours of our products that appear on our website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor set up, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. We take all reasonable measures to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.
We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been miss-published, including prices and promotions. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Once your order has been confirmed you are unable to make any changes so please make sure that all the details are correct. We reserve the right to cancel an order. Cancellation of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:
- Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment.
- The identification of an error in the product information, including price or promotion.
If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
You are able to use our website and the contents for your own purposes, including printing, provided that you do not modify the content with our prior written consent. Material from our site must not be republished without permission from us. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website are owned by our licensors or us and must not be reproduced without our prior consent.
Images on our site have been taken or paid for by The Scent Shop.
We reserve the right to seek legal action for any forbidden use or exploitation of any text, images or content on this site.
All purchases are made in acceptance of these terms and conditions. We cannot be held liable for any delays suck as postal strikes, public holidays and situations that are outside of our control. We reserve the right update these terms and conditions and do so regularly.
Your rights under statutory provisions are unaffected by these terms.
